Garbage in, garbage out is a programming term referring to what you put in to a system you get out. A computer can only work with what its given. When a computer  is given bad programming an error message pops up if you’re lucky! On the other hand if you’re unlucky your computer will do something crazy, like freeze up or open random files. When humans receive bad programming we don’t crash, well not like a PC but we do exhibit curious behaviours.

How are you being programmed?

Music can have a direct  impact on behaviour. To say music doesn’t effect you psychologically, is to say you are generally immune to stimuli like porn or romantic movie’s –  the majority of people will be affected on some level.

Some of the effect are:

  • Lack of concentration
  • Sex on the brain
  • Negative mood and attitudes i.e Feeling need to give someone a good kick-in :(

The physiological affects of music

Have you every consider the physiological impact of the music you listen to! It’s worth thinking about it, why, because music comes with a message!  Here are some Tips

Tip 1 Congruence

Be congruent in your choice of music. Is the music you listen to inline with your values?

Tip 2 proactive awareness

Awareness starts by consciously analysing the content you’re mentally consuming.

  • Ask your self is it really necessary to have the radio playing in the back ground constantly pumping random stuff into your subconscious.
  • Is the content appropriate?  Be conscious of the lyrical content of your music.  Music is more then just catchy beats.
  • How relevant is a song glorifying how many girls/ bitches some rappers had sex with after the club.
  • How do you think such lyrics colour men’s perception of women? Are women just sex objects?  is a woman’s role just to smile look pretty and shake their ass from time to time, whenever a shiny car drives past or some guy flashes a bit of bling!

How do you think such lyrics shape the attitudes of woman/girls who have been exposed to such concepts constantly though out their lives. Distorted self image, lack of self confidence, especially if a girl/woman self identity is based on their sexual appeal. Over sexualisation of young woman  particularly kids and teens, are just some of the negative affect of over sexualised music.

  • How are you influencing the self image of your daughter, nice, sister?
  • How do theses one sided sexual concepts colour the mind of our boys?
  • Is the content suitable for children and young people?
  • How are you setting a example with your music play list?

Music with sexual and violent content should come with a age rating like movie’s – Its insane to think that kids can listen to Eminem rap about having sex with under aged girls as long as they have hair between their legs – kids are listen to artists like 50 cent play Rambo on a track, raping about how many niggas he’s put away. kids are listening to a crowed of misogynistic rappers disrespecting women with every other word, is this ok, should we feed these distorted images of reality to little girls and boys.

Tip 3 Use music strategically

Their’s a time and place for various kinds of music. Got a date and you want to activate your mojo and get your swagger on! Jamie fox can help you get in the zone, but you don’t need to be feed sex songs all day every day.

Got a social event but confidence and energies low, you can up lift your ego with rock, rap or ragga music.

Want to de-stress, meditate, study or work –  Jazz or Classical music like Mozart, Beethoven and brahn are ideal. Research shows music with 60 beat per minute can helps with memory retention. The 60 beat per minute range is ideal for learning and work. Faster tempos can be used to stimulate the brain for other activities like working out.

Ask your self this, are lyrics such as “Life isn’t worth living”, “I’m on a long road to hell”, mentally beneficial! Don’t be hypnotised by the drums and cool guitar rifts. The beat is what we hear first, this is what gets your feet taping, and your head nodding but asks yourself, do you need theses lyrical affirmations?

Music can help you get that girl or guy

I, like 99 percent of the populous have used music to set up a Romantic atmosphere hopping to get lucky. Image how many children have been conceived as a result of listening to Barry White songs. That’s something to think about when your on a date feeling all loved up with  music is playing in the background, are you feeling that person or are you feeling the effects of the music?

Socially conscious Music has the power to radically enlighten the mind. Personal, socially conscious music done what school failed to do, introduce me to relevant social, political concept and even history, That’s powerful

How much of your music is socially conscious?  

Entertainment vs edutainment. The music industry have pretty much hid culturally conscious music or edutainment from the public, you need to be proactive in finding it yourself. The music industry had struck society a major blow by not taking responsibility for the effects music has upon the public and the roll socially conscious music plays in a civilised society, particularly as a means of communicating Thoughts, Idea’s philosophy and Culture.

Musician’s and emcees are not just crowd-pleasing comedian’s with slick tongues; they’re commentators, storytellers and an educator’s, but we hear little to no socially conscious music on the mainstream radio stations or on TV. Generally we here the same 12 songs all day on every station.

Why conscious music is desirable

  • As a society music shapes our group conscious and philosophy
  • Music puts us in touch with our inner beliefs and desires
  • Music is a part of societies mental landscape
  • Music is the heat beat of the nation

Has your musical taste matured with age and level of consciousness?

  • 98 percent of mainstream music is written by Kids or Clowns
  • The majority of mainstream music is targeted at Kids not Adults
  • This is the first time in history that the social tends, fashions and values are set by Kids – Do Adults need to emulate the kids?

Summery: Music is like an affirmation, it should go hand in hand with your intentions. The best music is in line with your would vision, values and philosophy, The best music is progressive  music.

You can get your exercise anywhere, like in the park, in your house on road free of charge. Even couch potatoes can upgrade their fitness while they lounge.

With the exception of couch potatoes, desk goblins You’ve been doing your work outs, whether you’ve doing  breathing exercises, working out at home  running, walking,  getting out to the park,  gym, swimming , sometimes the work out can feel routine, boring and at time’s uninspiring.  So what are the options? Have a think about what area’s you would like to improve then get to work on it, for a more general approach – Get creative and intuitive with your existing routine and move yourself to the next level.

Upgrade your body and fitness

Add a new dimension to your routine, for instance when jogging, mix it up a bit by add more variations of movement such as running back wards, shuffle to the side, stop and do push ups, flapping your hand‘s like a bird, holding your arms out like a plane, jumping, exaggerating your running style by picking your legs up higher, switch your running style you can do something to the extreme like run like a women or a man for that matter. You’ll be exercising muscles that you don’t usually use. Your can sing, do affirmations, take a longer or different route, you can give yourself a time goal.

If you’re doing something like Yoga, Gi Gong, Thi Chi – you can break from your routine and flow with your intuition allowing the poses, move’s and forms to emerge, if you’re having sex try doing it standing up holding her with her leg’s straddling you your hands on her bum holding her up it’s a great workout really gets the heart racing (disclaimer author has on legal responsible for any injury’s or pregnancy that may result form this information:0

Getting it at the Gym

The copy cat method. In the gym watch out for people using gym equipment in creative or useful ways. Watch people, talk to people, find someone to emulate. If you can’t find anyone to emulate you’re going to have to make your imagination run wild just be safe.

Up grade for couch potatoes

When chilling out watching TV pretend you’re riding a bicycle. Basically sit back and paddle like your riding a bicycle set yourself some time goals, paddling for 10 sec or more or as much as you want to do.

Another good exercise is the get up sit down . How do you do it – get up sit down and repeat. Set your self a goal maybe 3 reps of ten get ups and sit downs. Make this a daily routine at your couch or desk and upgrade as you wish. My upgrade

Recently- I had a major fitness up grade. basically my daily exercise  routine varies throughout the year, at the core is Qi Gong and Yoga, over the last couple months gymnastic bar work and push ups have been a my focus. My intention to increase my physical strength and get swollen like Tookie Williams. Anyway I up graded my virtually static Qi Gong and Yoga exercise to more a of a martial art/thi chi exercise.

Material art upgrade for beginner Bruce Lee style

How do you do it, simple pretends your Bruce lee and gets kicking. Be Bruce Lee whilst out for a run or walk. You’ve seen the movie’s be a actor in you own film.

What does it look like?

  • Well its rather straight forward
  • Kick’s, Round house kick’s
  • side kick’s
  • Forward kicks
  • Back kick’s
  • SweepsPunches
  • Just get kicking

How did I integrate Kung fu kicks into my routine, instead of Running around the foot ball pitch, I did two Bruce lee laps around the boarder line foot ball pitch, using the side lines as a guide to aline my kicks. I also added some punch in to the mix. I completed the work out with Qi Gong, and breathing exercise.

(Workout) Get it at home super style

Its been three days since I had my fitness up grade I feel great and my bodies feels strong and responsive. Today I was doing what we call in our house Super tidy upper. Super tidy upper is the kind of tiding up you’ll do if you were selling your house and you had half an hour to clean up before a potential buyer arrives to view your home. Basically super tidy upper is running around the house cleaning up at super speed, as fast as you can safely move.

Super tiddy upper Another vision of the super tidy upper is to integrate working out into your house work. I use arm weights and leg weights, while for instance doing the vacuuming, dusting, mopping etc during the clean up operation.

Weights are not needed. You don’t have to use weights you can set a goal to do 3 reps of 10 push ups, jumps or kicks in half an hour or whatever time you give yourself to tidy up. Do them in between cleaning up.

Add some energy into you tidding up mix

Jumps, punches, Singing and dancing, I guess singing and dance is the most common form of exercise during house workWh-p;l. ilst putting things away you can integrate following movements into the process, while for instance putting things away or moving thing around.

  • Qi gong moves
  • Yoga poses
  • Thi chi moves
  • The kitchenWhen you’re tiding up the kitchen fit in some stretches and breathing exercises.
  • Stretching arms and legs

With a bit of car, balance and coordination you can try out some leg and arm stretches on the kitchen work surface, just be safe.You can get your exercise any were free of charge, just be creative and safe ~
